A daily-changing lunch menu in Stoneybatter

Vada opened on Brunswick Street North in Stoneybatter in 2025 and was picked up by the Michelin Guide within its first year.

Lunch changes daily and dinner is built for sharing. Karaage chicken and wild garlic and feta gnudi are the dishes reviewers keep naming. The room is small enough that the menu can turn over as often as it does.

We really loved this place. Would definitely return! The food was delicious, and portion sizes are very decent and wine was gorgeous too. The service was great and atmosphere was nice. Recommend the foccacia and dip, the steak and the crushed spuds. 10/10!

Great spot with a cosy atmosphere but serving dishes that are unique and punching above its small space and location. The pork chop was sublime and tender, with perfectly cooked beans and a refreshing sauce. I'm not one for ordering nuts but glad we did; those kimchi nuts were spectacular with the right balance between candied, spicy, salty and toasty. The halloumi was nice but a tad bland, while the mussels and focaccia could've done with an extra slice of bread. The cheesecake was nice but forgettable, and makes me regret not choosing other dessert options or skipping altogether.

We had a wonderful evening at Vada. Some of the dishes were stronger than others (the focaccia with jalapeño curd is amazing! get it! and the tempura aubergine and courgette bhaji were wonderful) but the atmosphere and service were wonderful, and we would definitely return.

Nice welcome on entering. Lovely decor. Clean bathroom facility (very important - says a lot about a place!). Menu clearly explained. Great selection of dishes to suit most tastes (maybe not vegans). Good wine list. Good value for money considering the high quality of the cookery. Would definitely visit again.

I was blown away by our experience at Vada last weekend. The food was exceptional, the service was warm and friendly, and the overall atmosphere made for such a memorable evening. We went as a group of four, which turned out to be the perfect way to experience the restaurant — our top tip would be to go with friends and order across the menu so you can try a bit of everything. Every dish was beautifully presented, full of flavour, and clearly made with so much care. We left already planning our next visit.
