ARKET finally lands on Dawson Street

ARKET's Irish opening got delayed so many times it became a running joke among Dublin shoppers. The H&M Group's Nordic brand finally opened on September 4, 2025, at 60 Dawson Street on the corner of Nassau Street. That's 810 square metres over two floors, one of the biggest retail openings in the city that year.

It's the full format: women's, men's and kids' clothing, accessories, homeware, and the brand's café on site. People queued from the first morning. After a run of big-name closures in the city centre, locals read it as a sign Dublin retail wasn't done yet.

Good to know

  • The in-store café serves the brand's New Nordic vegetarian-leaning menu and makes a good coffee stop mid-shop.
  • Homeware and kidswear get proper floor space here, not just the fashion lines.

The long-haired lady with a nose piercing, Julia, was super helpful and gave me great advice. Excellent service from her — 5 stars for Julia. Unfortunately, this was the opposite of my experience with some other staff members in the store

I had the opportunity to stop by this lovely café for a quick flat white, and it was such a pleasant experience. The space is warm and cozy, and the staff are genuinely friendly and welcoming. If you’re in the neighborhood doing a bit of shopping, it’s definitely worth popping in for a coffee break.

Really amazing coffee and treats and at reasonable prices too! ☺️ be sure to grab a window seat if you can for some relaxing views while you have your coffee

Just thought I’d come into arket on my day off to see what the hype around the cinnomon buns was about. I had a really nice girl serve me, I think her name was Lisa, super polite and friendly. She even told me about the company’s history, it’s really refreshing to have a conversation. The buns were so good, I’ll definitely be coming back soon!
