A Georgian townhouse that turns into a nightclub

Three floors of an eighteenth-century building on South William Street, and the whole thing shifts personality after dark. Start with a properly poured pint of Guinness or a cocktail on the lower levels while it's still a bar.

DJs take over Thursday to Sunday and the place turns into a club. Cocktails and wine hold their own against the Guinness. Weeknights wrap by 11.30pm; Friday and Saturday run to 2.30am.

Stapleton’s was exactly what I was looking for. The atmosphere is cozy, warm, and quiet perfect for unwinding with a drink after a long day. It’s the kind of place where you can actually have a conversation, whether you’re catching up with friends or enjoying a romantic evening. The wine was excellent, and the staff made the experience even better with their friendly service. If you’re looking for a relaxed spot away from the usual noisy bars, I highly recommend giving Stapleton’s a try. Both visits 10/10.

Lovely bar with a really nice ambient, stylish, and perfect for a relaxed evening. The cocktails were excellent, very balanced and made with care. You can tell they know what they are doing, every drink we tried was spot on. It’s honestly one of the very few places in Dublin that makes really good cocktails, thanks to Anton — he’s amazing. The staff and bartender were very welcoming and friendly, which made the whole experience even better. Definitely I’d come back again, I highly recommend this place!
