Argentina's alfajores, now with a place to sit
Bakeology built its name on alfajores and empanadas at 43 Meath Street, Dublin's first Argentinian bakery. In 2025 the family opened a sit-down café directly across the road, same counter, actual chairs.
Facturas, quiches, sandwiches and cake sit alongside the alfajores everyone's really there for. This end of Meath Street, past the Liberties, is worth the walk from Thomas Street on its own.

Bakeology In has all the same delicious treats from the Bakeology across the street, plus more. This location services breakfast and sandwiches dishes. The Alfores are one of my favorite things in Dublin. Their empanadas are perfect for a take way lunch snack, small but delicious. You eat a few.

Amazing experience at Bakeology! We had the best milanesa and choripán in Dublin — absolutely delicious and full of authentic Argentine flavor. The chimichurri was especially amazing! A special recognition to Yamila, who came to our table to make sure everything was okay and provided outstanding service. She truly appreciated our compliments and made us feel very welcome. Great atmosphere, excellent food, and friendly staff. Highly recommend if you want to enjoy real Argentine food!

Amazing bakery! All brunch items are made with homemade fresh bread and fresh ingredients, it’s one of my favorite brunch places in town. Their media lunas are a star on its own!

Good ambience with low background music that allows you to chatter without having to raise your voice. Food and service were great. Nice option for brunch and had good options for a nice sweet breakfast.

Such a great place to grab lunch! Service was so great and the food!!!! The empanadas were so tasty especially if you add the chimichurri! We ordered the empanadas with chicken and the bacon, prune, cheese one! Also got the focaccia with pastrami and the eggstasy bagel. 10/10!
