Two Faced

★ 4.9 · 186 reviews Dublin Opened 10 May 2024

Coffee by day, wine bar by night

Two Faced runs on a split identity. Order a flat white in the morning and you're in a café; come back at 6pm and it's a wine bar with small plates.

The spot filled a real gap on this stretch of Montague Street, where the only options used to be pubs or nothing. Budget under €60 a head for wine and a few plates, and get there before 9pm since the room is small.

Really enjoyed the wine bar at Two Faced. The staff were very friendly, and they have a good selection of red, white, orange, and sparkling wines by the glass, with the main focus on Italy, France, and Austria. I’d love to see a slightly wider range from other parts of Europe or even New World regions, but overall it’s a cozy little spot with a relaxed atmosphere. Nothing fancy or pretentious, just good wine, coffee, and small bites.

This place hits different every single time I go. Whether it is for coffee & a sandwich or a crisp glass of wine and tapas in the evening. The ambiance is moody, relaxed, and overall chill. I highly recommend this place for a good midday coffee or a nice night with friends!

I love their toasties. I have tried the 3 cheese and ham and cheese, both lovely. Their coffee is top notch too. Always friendly staff and cool atmosphere.

Though small and dimly lit, this spot piqued our interest due to its rave reviews online. However, their focaccia toasties are quite large, dense, and packed with a mix of ingredients that don't quite respect the original flavor of a fresh burrata or hot crunchy focaccia. While perhaps ideal for a young, hearty appetite, they proved too substantial and heavy for a more refined palate. Loud, dark space inside with uncomfortable chairs. Service is super sweet and efficient and coffee is of good quality.

What a great little find, only 500m from Grafton Street, and hardly a tourist on site. Nicely positioned to catch the noon day summer sun, on an outside table or the window bench inside. Friendly staff, nice coffee.
