OMMA

One matcha farm, no shortcuts
Skip the flat white and order the yuzu tonic instead. OMMA pours ceremonial-grade matcha sourced from a single family farm in Japan, the kind of detail most cafés can't claim.
The Clarendon Street café grew out of a pop-up inside Brown Thomas, after OMMA spent 2023 running matcha ceremonies and workshops around Dublin. Saturdays get a queue, so go on a weekday if you want a seat.

Probably the best matcha I’ve had in Dublin so far. Authentic Japanese-style matcha, clean and smooth, and very well priced for the quality, especially compared to other places in the city charging quite a bit more for a similar standard. The staff were also really friendly and take their time, in a good way, properly whisking and preparing the matcha rather than rushing the process. You can tell they care about doing it correctly.

Cutest find and conveniently inside of a cosmetics shop. You would think the cute toppings add sweetness but they dont. It still retains that nice calm matcha flavor.

OMMA is a lovely spot for matcha lovers. The quality of the matcha is excellent, and you can tell they take great care in preparing each drink. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere felt calm and authentic. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that the prices are a bit on the high side and seating can be limited. Overall, a great place to enjoy a proper matcha experience in Dublin, and I’ll definitely be back to try more from the menu.

Best matcha I’ve ever had, no question 💚 Dublin people, you don’t even realize how lucky you are to have OMMA. I genuinely didn’t like matcha before — this place made me fall in love with it, and now I love every flavour on the menu. What really resonates with me is how deeply they embrace Japanese culture — not just as an aesthetic, but in their whole approach and values. This is so much more than a coffee shop!

This was a pretty matcha but there isn’t much flavour to it, just tasted of milk to me! However my plain iced matcha did have a stronger matcha taste. Could be nice to have more flavours / syrups. It is very pricey for a matcha I’d say but might be due to it being hand whisked which I can appreciate! Not much seating available either if you plan on sitting there but overall it was really nice service from them and they are kind and explain the drinks nicely.
