Home cooking named after the grandmother who taught her everything.

Laura Manili opened Sunta in Pigneto on September 30, 2025, after competing on the twelfth season of MasterChef Italia. She named the place after her grandmother Assunta, the woman who actually taught her to cook. The menu skips the TV theatrics for home style dishes.

The kitchen covers vegan food alongside meat and fish, unusual for a Roman trattoria. Desserts get real attention here, and the cinnamon roll topped with apple foam keeps selling out.
