Specialty coffee finally gets a seat inside Turin's GAM
Barbaglio opened in mid-January 2026 inside the GAM, Turin's Galleria Civica d'Arte Moderna, bringing the museum's long-closed café back to life. The coffee program runs two roasters side by side: Lavazza 1895 handles espresso, while Ialty, a roastery from the Langhe hills, covers filter and other extraction methods. Food stays light and available all day, built for visitors moving between exhibitions rather than sitting down for a full meal.
Hours track the museum's own schedule for now, with plans to stretch later into the evening once warmer weather pulls more people onto the GAM's grounds. It's specialty coffee's first real foothold inside one of the city's major cultural institutions, a pairing that felt overdue given how much café culture shapes Turin's identity.

Bar baglio I discovered them for a delivery beautiful place now with the addition of new plants fabulous, large spaces kind professional and friendly staff, excellent presentation of proposals also vegetarian, I highly recommend as we will be more and more vegan alternatives, a special thanks to Gianluca excellent coordinator and soul of the place well done!

A nice place with good food. I went during a lunch break: delicious food, good value for money, also good for a break before or after visiting the GAM. There's also a library inside the building.
