Nanashian treats tea like a craft, not a side order to coffee. The owner buys straight from Sri Lankan estates, and the cup your pour lands in is matched to the leaf, pulled from more than forty antique cups and saucers behind the counter.
Order the white swan lake pudding at 1,100 yen, the thing most tables get alongside their tea. The room is small and doesn't take large groups. Go in the morning before it fills up.

Great food and a really nice atmosphere. Quiet and friendly. I got the eggs Benedict and a lemon tart and it was very good. Beautiful presentation too and well balanced.

Beautiful atmosphere, food and drinks were very yummy, the waitress was so helpful and kind. She spoke English well and offered us an umbrella to keep because it was raining hard when we left. Highly recommend!
