A wine bar in Haddad Plaza that doesn't try too hard

Skip the sprawling menus most Amman wine spots run. Cask and Cork keeps its list tighter and more considered, which turns out to be the better move.

The room backs up the pitch: low stools, dim lighting, no cocktail-bar theatrics. It's a short walk from 13C's wine shop on the same stretch of Wadi Saqra, good for a bottle-and-a-bar-stop evening.

Amazing experience at Casque & Cork. Armen at the bar was fantastic, the chef made the meal even better with his explanations, and the wine pairing was spot on. Great food, great service, and a very polite, attentive team. Definitely coming back!
