Little Polo opened across from Maseno University's town campus on 9 February 2026, on the Kisumu Hotel Extension strip. Gigi, who runs it, built the place for students and staff from campus rather than as a weekend destination. You can usually get a table for two without booking. The loaded breakfast plate and the chicken sandwiches are what regulars order first.

Boba took a while to catch on in Kisumu, and Little Polo was one of the first cafes here to keep it on the menu permanently instead of running it as a one-off promo. The room seats maybe a dozen people. It's built for sitting with a matcha for an hour, not for grabbing a coffee on the way somewhere else.
