Get here by 5pm and grab a seat before the sky turns orange over Westlands. The name says it all: a 270-degree sweep of the city from the 18th floor of the Escada building, one of the rooftop spots that changed how Nairobi drinks.

It opens early for a rooftop, from 6am on weekdays, so you can catch breakfast light too if sunset crowds aren't your thing.

I had a great experience at 270° Rooftop. The atmosphere is amazing, the staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, and the food was absolutely delicious. Everything from the service to the overall ambiance made my visit enjoyable. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great dining experience!

Had a wonderful experience at 270° Rooftop. The ambience was amazing, with beautiful views and a relaxed atmosphere that made the experience even better. We ordered the Short Ribs with Mash and the 270° Burger, and both meals were delicious, well presented, and full of flavor. The customer service was excellent as well. Our waiter kept checking in to make sure everything was okay without being intrusive, which made us feel well taken care of. Overall, great food, great service, and a lovely ambience. I'll definitely be back and would highly recommend 270° Rooftop!

After a long day out with friends I visited the restaurant, I did not have an appointment or anything, the guards at the gate were nice enough to guide me to the restaurant. The atmosphere was so good and I was lucky to get a window seat overlooking the city and the views were amazing. The place was not noisy despite it being packed and the staff and food were the icing on top of the cake. I highly recommend if you are looking to enjoy a budget friendly meal with the added advantage of views.

270° Rooftop offers some of the best views over Westlands, especially at night. The intimate, moody and sophisticated aesthetic makes it great for dates or weekend drinks. The music is at the perfect volume — you can actually hold a conversation. I found the vibe chilled and trendy. Main courses start from about KES 1,700–2,250 (without drinks), so it’s on the premium side. Alcoholic drink prices are also on the higher side. Unfortunately there is no direct lift access — you’ll need to take stairs from around the 16th floor all the way up to 18th floor. Free indoor parking is available. It's a cosy rooftop experience. The views and atmosphere are definitely worth it.
