A nonprofit shop giving women a fresh income, made by hand

Skip the signage and look for Monument Books on Street 5. Dream Weavers sits right beside it, a modest storefront selling textiles and crafts made by women transitioning out of the sex trade. No middleman, no polish, just handmade goods sold direct.

It barely makes tourist itineraries, which is a shame given how much it matters. Buying something here goes straight back to the woman who made it.
