Sinouk grows its own beans up on the Bolaven Plateau and runs a small chain of cafes off that harvest. The Pakse branch sits close enough to the bus station and airport to work as a last coffee before a flight or the first one off a minivan.

It's a coffee counter, not a lounge-around spot, and opens at 6:30am for the early transit crowd. The beans come from a short drive up into the hills where most of Laos's coffee grows.

Our mug looked like it wasn’t cleaned properly- we went here cause we wanted to have breakfast before we fly out, we choose this spot cause the opening time is 7am but at 7 they were actually opening the shop, meaning they had to put all the table out and get things ready, so when we were allowed to come in around 7:15 everything was a little slow and the food wasn’t so good when you compare it to the price - stuff was friendly but didn’t speak English

I think this place is overstaffed as I see some of them are just chitchatting at the back and occasionally one of them come to the counter to meet customers. There is even a young lady playing music from Tik Tok in public. I don't think it's a socially acceptable behaviour in cafes where quietness is needed. Drink is okay though. Hope the management becomes better.
