Mountain views over Vang Vieng, from an 11-storey terrace

Come for the view: a riverside terrace stacked eleven storeys up, with the valley's mountains stretching out in every direction. It began in 1980 as the town's first guesthouse, then got rebuilt from scratch into this resort in 2024.

You don't need to be a guest to sit down. Walk-ins get coffee and simple plates through the day into the evening. It's still finding its footing after the rebuild, but the setting does the heavy lifting.

We visited this restaurant with the intention of just having a couple of beers, however we enjoyed the atmosphere of the restaurant, so had a couple more beers and some small bites to eat. We enjoyed it that much that we went there for the second evening of our trip visiting Vang Vieng and had a meal. They were quite busy on this evening but the food was still of a good standard. The view is beautiful, especially as the sun sets

Beautiful view on the Nam Song River. The food was amazing, nice and cool on the top floor. Very friendly service and the atmosphere is beautiful with the long tail boats whizzing by.

Beautiful restaurant nearby river. Good view and good vibe. Price is quite high compared to others. But foods are so so both quality and tasty, it would be great if you improve this part.

Beautiful restaurant, nearby the river. Looks good, sophisticated. Very delicious food, the best that i ve tried in Laos. I ve been through many bad experiences in this country :( Good service. Beautiful view at sunset. You should go here and enjoy the sunset. Pretty romantic.

Quiet on Saturday morning to enjoy a fresh fruit shake right next to the river. Lovely to watch the passing kayaks and the motorcycles crossing on the wooden bridge. So simple. So peaceful. So calming.
