PullMind Cafe

The backpacker common room with the best sunset seat
A boxy, futuristic building on Din Daeng Road gives nothing away. No hint from the neon sign that behind it sits an open-air terrace facing the karsts, the reason PullMind has become Vang Vieng's unofficial common room.
It runs from just after dawn to early evening, serving coffee, smoothies and simple food to a crowd that treats it as much like a workspace as a sunset bar. The view does the work, and it proves itself daily as the light drops over the river.

I never leave reviews but this place deserves it. The food was so delicious that i returned again for the next meal! The owner works so hard by herself in the kitchen and her sons work in the restaurant. They are so so lovely❤️

The coffee was really good. The view on the second floor is just amazing. I got the breakfast which was good but the portion was rather small. The egg was really oily.

Come for sunset, stay for dinner. Food is so good here, and the spicy Laos papaya salad lives up to the name! It’s spicy but so tasty! Highly recommended this spot.

We just popped in on Christmas day for a beer and had some spring rolls, WOW, they were the best we have found. It says it's a cafe but everyone we spoke to said it's got great food. Yes it does! Great sunset views and a lovely owner who cooks as much as she can. We had a great afternoon and will definitely be back.

I've even asked Google to change the category to Restaurant since this is so much more than a simple coffee shop. They do have a very interesting coffee menu (where else can you try an orange iced coffee 😁) but I think the food is where it shines best. I tried several dishes and everything I had was excellent. Hands down the best food I've had in Laos! There are 2 floors and both have an excellent view, the 2nd floor has an especially nice view for the sunset. Owner is very kind and even shared many cooking tips with us. I will definitely come back next time we are in Laos.
