All-day plates by the Mekong, hotel-easy

Origin is the all-day dining room at DoubleTree by Hilton Vientiane, right on the river along Rue Manthatourath. Breakfast runs into dinner with a mix of Lao and international dishes, so it covers whatever time you show up hungry.

It won't be the meal you fly in for, but it's a reliable option if you're staying riverside and don't want to think about where to eat. It also marked Hilton's first flag in the city, part of a run of international hotel openings across 2024 and 2025.

I tend to travel to many countries and often stay in one place for a month. However, I really like this hotel so much that I am staying here with the intention of extending my stay for another month after initially staying for about a week. The food is good, the staff are friendly, and all the staff are kind and wonderful. In particular, this female staff member, Chit, is incredibly kind and friendly. I have traveled to many countries, but this is the first time I have encountered a staff member this kind and friendly. She left such a strong impression that I wanted to praise her. It seems she is kind not only to us but to everyone else as well. I plan to stay for another month or so, and I intend to recommend this place to many of my friends back in Korea. Thank you.

Loved the food options. Very tasty too. Ms. May delivered outstanding service. She was attentive and acknowledged my loyalty tier level with appreciation for the support. Well done Double Tree by Hilton 🙏
