Fifteen floors above the Mekong

Vientiane's skyline barely clears ten storeys, so the view from Stellar's 15th-floor perch is one the city has never had before. Look straight down the Mekong toward Thailand while the light drops, cocktail in hand.

The drinks list stays local: Lao spirits, riverside garnishes, poured from 5pm until midnight. It's the highest bar stool in a capital built low.
