A treehouse cafe 21 metres up, 32km from the city

Climb 21 metres into the canopy for a dining room built around an orchid garden and its own organic vegetable patch. Ziplines and treetop walkways ring the place, so this is a forest retreat first, restaurant second.

It's a proper drive out from central Vientiane, about 32km to Ban Vernthan in Xaythany district. Worth it for the view alone, but the kitchen pulling straight from its own garden is what makes the trip make sense.
