Breakfast in an old chocolate house

The courtyard is the reason to linger. mon. sits in rooms that stood empty for four years after a chocolate cafe closed, and the minimalism inside photographs well without trying too hard.

Sockets built into the window sills mean laptops are welcome, rare for the Old Town. Breakfast keeps to the standards, but the pastry case is the real draw, fresh buns and desserts regulars come in for on their own. Art by a Vilnius Academy of Arts alumnus lines the walls.

The patio is a true oasis in the heart of the city. Drinks are high quality with a huge range of options including seasonal choices. Pastries are divine - the cardamom bun was excellent. Hot food also looked very nice.

Good place to sit in the backyard and enjoy a coffee (or matcha) and a pastry. I recommend the avocado toast, the herbs really elevated the dish!

It was very busy so we had to wait a bit for our food but that was the only minus. Coffee and toast was amazing. So it was 100% worth the visit.

We had delicious coffee and herbal teas. Flat white was superb. Pastries and cakes so good. Highly recommended.

I really recommend this breakfast spot if you are looking for something and want a perfect matcha latte with your meal :) We have tried pastrami sandwich, avo toast and beetroot toast on gluten free bread. Everything was amazing. Also - i would say that the pastrami sandwich is for two people to share haha their matcha latte on oat milk was amazing but we didnt really like their coffee so i would skip on this one. We were so full that we havent tried their pastries but they looke heavenly. Also make sure to come early because later there was a queqe with people waiting for a table. The only thing that i would consider a disadvantage is their prices - it’s quite expensive but i can accept it cause you can really taste the quality and also they are near old town so its great. Overall - great experience.
