Riga's coffee community lands by the market

Rocket Bean already runs five cafes in Riga and one in Tallinn. This is the roastery's first Lithuanian room, a few steps from the reviving Halės market on Sodų street.

The cafe doubles as a clubhouse, with cuppings and competitions on the calendar and baristas building seasonal drinks at the bar. Order fermented strawberry and lychee rarities, coffee kombucha or canned cold brew, with a quiche or vegan cake on the side. Doors open at 7.30 on weekdays, rare for this part of town.

Amazing cafe serving high-quality drinks (they even use oatly!). The staff are wonderfully polite and the cafe is clean. Rocket Bean EASILY rivals the best cafes in New York and London.

I first had Rocket brew in Tallinn a couple of years ago. And it was great. Finding this place in Vilniaus was awesome as well. Highly recommended! ☕

Fantastic coffee shop with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The menu is easy to read, the coffee is excellent, and the pastries are fresh and delicious. The staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming, making it a pleasure to visit. I’d happily return and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great coffee spot.

Great coffee.. They seem to have (at least) two types of of coffee, which is still unusual. Good cakes and baked goods. Open early, which is great for a coffee shop.

Wow, wow, wow! A top café with a very pleasant atmosphere cozy, relaxed, and not too loud. The staff were extremely friendly, welcoming, and easy to communicate with. The highlight of everything was definitely the cheesecake. It is easily among the top 5 cheesecakes I have ever had, if not maybe the best especially considering the generous size of the slice. Absolutely recommended. I will definitely come back at the first opportunity. Thank you!
