Europe's first taste of this Mediterranean concept
A live olive tree grows in the middle of the room, with terracotta and burnt clay doing the rest of the work. Vilnius beat every bigger European capital to this one: Nostrum is the first restaurant built on Apex Alliance's new Mediterranean coast concept.
The menu runs the full coastline, from Iberia through the Levant, wider than anything else in Lithuania. It sits inside the Hilton Garden Inn on Gedimino avenue, handy for Lukiškės Square, and keeps serving after much of the avenue has shut for the night.

I was at the restaurant and ordered a beef steak. The taste was completely different from what I expected, so I asked who had prepared it. They told me it was the chef from Egypt. I went to thank him and told him that it was one of the best dishes I have ever tasted because of its unique and delicious flavor. Thank you, chef Mohamed Emad!
