Marijan Lodge opened on the Cape Maclear beachfront in 2025, run by German owner Mariane Rauschenberger. It splits into two sides. A pizza and cafe side. A bar and restaurant side, serving everything from breakfast to high tea. Vegetarian, vegan and dairy-free options are all on the menu.

It's one of the newest names on the beachfront, still building a reputation. Its social media already shows as much of the pizza oven as it does the sunsets.

Good to know

The high tea is a rarer find than lunch or dinner on the Cape Maclear beachfront.

We were being honored to be hosted at Marijan Lodge, this place it’s nice because it beautiful views for sunrise and sunset, islands and beaches. Location was accurate, better price (not expensive), supportive staff and delicious meals.

This lodge is very fantastic because it has beautiful lake, islands and sunset views accessed from its beach side. It's very accurate for the first visit when you're using Google maps to locate it. Staffs were always supportive to us whenever need their services. It's accommodative to everyone due to it's affordability, good room services and they're best to accommodate both solo, couple, family and business visitors as they've deluxe double bedroom, twin deluxe double bedroom, family room and vacational house. So I recommend people from all over the world visit this place.

It was great vacation at Marijan Lodge because it's rooms were in good condition always, staffs provide best services whenever the service was needed, we didn't have a problem to locate it as it's location is accurate, very affordable in terms of prices. Very beautiful lodge in Cape Maclear as we have good view to the lake, Domwe, Mumbo, Thumbi Island and Otters Point.

It was great vacation at Marijan Lodge because rooms were in perfect condition always, staffs were always available to provide support to us, we didn't had problem to locate this lodge, very affordable in terms of accommodations prices, restaurant menu, nice views both lake, mountain and gardens
