Upstairs on Beach Street with a view of the fire station

Red Door sits on the second floor of a Lebuh Pantai shophouse, with a clear line of sight to the Beach Street fire station, a listed 1908 building and better looking than most of what people photograph in George Town.

Lebuh Pantai was the old banking street and the upper floors sit mostly empty. Sitting in one of them with a coffee is the point.
