Sliema's oldest pub, now pouring craft beer and live music
Hole in the Wall claims the title of oldest pub in Sliema, set back on High Street rather than on the seafront. Over the years it has been reworked into a craft-beer bar with regular live music.
The taps rotate through independent and Maltese brews, and the small room fills up fast on gig nights. Expect a locals' crowd and a lot of history, not a polished cocktail list.

Wow. What a cool bar. Great beer selection, good value for money (beers generally €3-4, vodka and mixer, €3.50). It has some retro video games and nice artwork all over walls. I think I've found my local for the week!

One of the nicest little bars we went whilst in Malta. Highly recommend. Not going to ruin the surprise for you as you need to go there to see what's it all about. it won't disappoint. Amazing staff and service. Great drinks menu too.

awesome cafe. i wanted to sit down and have a coffee and there was no one but myself in the whole place. guessing it attracts more of a bar crowd. lucky for me, because it was just the peace and quiet i needed. the barista/bartender was also so lovely.
