A proper British pub on Sliema's High Street
The Salisbury Arms sits on High Street in the heart of Sliema, keeping the British pub format straight: a proper bar, screens for the football, pub food on the menu.
Order a pie, a burger or a Sunday roast, and stick to the British beer list. It's an easy local a few streets back from the seafront crowds.

The Salisbury Arms is the first place we head to for dinner when we arrive in Malta. The food is exceptional - I can recommend the bragioli - and is very good value for money. All the staff are amazing, both friendly and professional and the atmosphere is very relaxing. My only regret is that it isn’t in London, so can’t get there more often.

Stopped in for a drink on way back to hotel, good atmosphere with the football on multiple tvs. Interesting selection of football scarfs hanging from the ceiling.

Great little pub hidden away. Good selection of beers on tap and many scarves to look at and admire. Given a complimentary tray of snacks which came as a surprise.

Weird backpocket of UK with the decor to match, in a good way. When I visited, girl serving was very nice and welcoming. Nice and cool place to step in from hot afternoon sun.
