Anima Rooftop

Mediterranean fusion, 100 metres above Paceville
The view does the selling here. Anima Rooftop sits near the top of Mercury Tower, over 100 metres up, with a 360-degree sweep from the city out to the sea, and a cocktail list built to match it. The kitchen runs Mediterranean fusion, sharper than the usual rooftop bar menu.
It picked up a mention in the MICHELIN Guide 2026 within its first year, fast recognition for a bar in a district better known for late-night drinking than fine dining.

Amazing experience. Delicious food. I had both, meat and fish with a dry cold Sardinian Vermentino. Great service. The location and the view are worth a visit, especially at night. Recommended.

Best place in Malta 100% recommend it, also all the waiters and bartenders are very polite people, had a fantastic time here with my gilries. Very high class drinks, cocktails and food, should visit this place if you're here in Malta! View is fantastic from up here.

Anima is easily one of the most stunning rooftop bars in St Julian’s. Yes, there’s a €25 entrance fee, but considering it includes a cocktail and access to those breathtaking views, it’s absolutely worth it. The moment you step onto the rooftop, you’re hit with panoramic views across Malta that are genuinely unforgettable — especially at sunset. The atmosphere is stylish and relaxed, with a perfect mix of great music, elegant décor, and an upscale vibe without feeling pretentious. The cocktail included with entry was excellent, beautifully made and the perfect way to enjoy the scenery. Whether you’re visiting for drinks before dinner or spending the whole evening there, Anima feels like a real luxury experience. The views alone make it worth visiting, but combined with the ambience and quality service, it becomes one of those places you’ll talk about long after your trip. A must-visit rooftop spot in Malta.

We had the most amazing time at Anima Rooftop, dancing on Friday night with girlfriends on a bday escape trip. Very high end experience, starting from the entrance and followed by a great service and music all the way upstairs on the rooftop. Definitely a stand out in a noisy Paceville club life, I would describe it as a 30+ years crowd. The entrance was free and average cocktail is €15, while a bottle of decent wine is €40. Recommended and if we ever be back, we will go to Anima again.
