Portuguese pastry and hojicha lattes from the Bam Boa team on the Weesperzijde

The pastel de nata is expected. The pão de Deus, a coconut brioche, is the one you'll come back for. Café Bica is the long-promised coffee and pastry shop from the team behind Bam Boa, a few doors along the Weesperzijde, set in the old Kees next to Loulou Pizzabar.

The coffee menu runs deep into flavours, from mango matcha to a hojicha latte, and the room is done in soft sand tones. Go early on a sunny day, grab pastries and take the terrace facing the Amstel.

A very nice spot on the banks of the Amstel for good coffee and fresh pastries. The atmosphere is relaxed and pleasant, making it a great place to sit back and enjoy the river views. A lovely café to chill for a while in Amsterdam.

Went to the cafe with a run club. Tried their pistachio (cake?) and was so delicious! Coffee was amazing as well.

Recently discovered this place, now become one of my favourite cafes in Amsterdam! Such a nice space and really friendly staff with a sunny terrace right on the Amstel. Will keep coming back!

Cozy, clean, relaxed atmosphere with music that fits the vibe. Amazing service and wow 😍 the chocolate babka and flat white were fantastic! Definitely worth a stop.
