Peking duck and hand-made dumplings over two floors off the Spui

Order the Peking duck. Then the hand-made dumplings, then the charcoal-grilled sea bass, the three dishes that anchor a menu built as a trip from Thailand to Japan, street food up to refined plates.

The two-storey room sits on the Voetboogstraat, a minute from the Spui and the Kalverstraat. Eighty-five seats, open until one, and a private room that holds twelve to twenty-four for bigger groups.

Amazing place - Highly recommend!! The service was excellent from start to finish, the presentation was absolutely beautiful, and the food & cocktails - delicious!!. Everything was thoughtfully prepared and the entire experience exceeded our expectations. Wonderful atmosphere, incredible attention to detail, and truly outstanding service.

We had a great experience! If you love gyoza and duck, this place is definitely worth trying. We ordered the gyoza, duck roll, tenderloin, and sushi, and every single dish was delicious. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The only thing we didn’t enjoy was the Thai salad—it wasn’t to our taste. Other than that, everything was excellent. A special thank you to Mara, who took care of us. Highly recommended!

I walked by the lucky duck and its entrance looked very sexy and I was excited to try later that night. The servers were exceptional. They put me at the chefs counter which I always love. They really helped me through the menu. The wagyu dumplings were amazing he said it was the most popular dish. I loved the toro nigiri with the caviar and the salmon sashimi. The wagyu slices were incredible and I got tja half duck it was so much for one but it was so delicious. It was so fun interacting with the chefs as it wasn’t super busy that day. They also had a DJ playing very cool chill vibey music. I would highly recommend to anyone!

This was the best meal I’ve had by far in Amsterdam. The chefs Tommy and David were amazing. I started with the waygu gyoza which was delicious, then moved onto the papaya salad which was refreshing, And then to the duck rolls. I don’t even like duck, but they were so good. Then we got into the heavy hitters. I then had the tuna belly, sushi, and the toro steak. Both of which will melt in your mouth. I was about to explode, but I wasn’t done yet. I finished off with the A5 waygu steak with the waygu fried rice. Chefs kiss. And to top it off I finished with the brownie. I could barely walk when it was time to leave but if I have to die, I’ll take a gourmet death. Do yourself a favor and eat here when you’re in Amsterdam.
