The waterside pavilion gives the restaurant one of the more scenic settings among the city's recent openings, dating from spring, the kind of view that's hard to book a table without noticing.

I would love to have lunch here for the rest of my life! I find dining too much of a hassle, and if I am still thirsty and/or hungry after lunch, I can act on that... My review is based on that; during lunch, you can only order sandwiches here, and otherwise, you have a choice of one salad. So I chose the latter, even though I had actually already decided to go for the veal. But I must say that the salad was surprisingly tasty! I didn't think I would finish everything when the overflowing plate was served, but I managed it anyway. Furthermore, they have a lovely terrace. If you reserve in advance, you get assigned a table on the street side, and that is great!!! It is really nice and quiet there. All that remains for me to say is that everything is VERY reasonably priced, and THAT is exceptional in these times! Perhaps I should go around 4:30 PM sometime so I can try my piece of veal... I have reasonable confidence in that.

Do you want to escape the hustle and bustle of the city for a while and enjoy a delicious meal by the water in Amsterdam? Then Restaurant Monne is the place to be! Delicious food, friendly staff, and a top location. I will definitely go there several more times, because I haven't tried all the dishes on the menu yet.

Excellent location by the Amstel with a beautiful view. The food is delicious and the menu is thoughtfully curated. Service is fast, attentive, and genuinely pleasant. We enjoyed almost everything , the only disappointment was the fries, which were noticeably less impressive than the rest of the dishes.
