Egyptian street food from the former chef of Mana Mana
Nar means fire in Egyptian Arabic, traditionally a gathering point for warmth and stories. Nara Nara takes its name from that idea. It sits right next to Café Publiek on Dapperplein. Chef Saïd runs the kitchen, previously at Mana Mana.
The menu stays mostly vegetarian and vegan, with some fish and meat. It draws on Mediterranean and Middle Eastern flavours, and there's a large terrace to go with it.

Delicious Egyptian food and the friendliest staff! Amazing Egyptian food and such friendly people! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and felt authentic. The staff were warm and welcoming and made us feel at home. A must-visit in Amsterdam!

The food, THE FOOD!! I had been anticipating the opening of Nara Nara from the moment I saw their interior design choices and their font - it sounds ridiculous but I’m usually not wrong. So a couple of weeks ago we finally visited them for the first time and it exceeded all expectations. We tried our way across the whole menu and loved every single dish. If if have to pick a favourite though, I’d urge you to try the Hawawshi. So so good. Apart from the amazing food and drinks, Nara Nara also has friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere, both on the terrace and inside. What a great restaurant to have in the neighbourhood 💙

This was so incredibly delicious!! The food was extremely well done. Seasoned perfectly and so flavourful. We had a Stella dinner here and would go back in a heartbeat!!

The food, the atmosphere, the friendly smile of the chef; it is all amazing. I’m still thinking about the dishes (grilled watermelon, dukkah fries, the fried cauliflower) and can’t wait to go back. As I’m living around the corner I couldn’t be more happy with this new restaurant in the neighbourhood!
