Coffee bar and bakery on the corner

A Chinese restaurant used to run out of this corner building. Now it's Dodo, a coffee bar with a working bakery attached: sourdough bread and viennoiserie like croissants and cinnamon rolls sit right next to the espresso machine.

Entrepreneur Stijn Pijnenburg took over the space at the corner of Strijpsestraat and Hortensiastraat, opening on 8 May 2025. It runs daily from 08:00, a neighbourhood breakfast and lunch stop rather than a destination café.
