One Rapenburg address, three ways to spend the day
Café de Gaper shifts through the day, coffee in the morning and cocktails after dark. The interior is Studio Modijefsky's work, exposed beams next to an old apothecary cabinet.
Lisa de Tombe, Jim Dijksterhuis and Mello de Witte started it after cutting their teeth at Restaurant Wils and The Bishop.

Had such a lovely evening here! The pork belly was absolutely incredible and my favorite dish of the night. I was also really impressed by how accommodating the team was with my lactose allergy, they gave great recommendations and even created a delicious lactose-free dessert for me. The service was warm and welcoming, the wine was excellent, and the dishes were beautifully presented. Looking forward to coming back!

We expected a low profile pub food place, but it was way more than that! More a low key bistro with sublime food. Welcoming staff, nice atmosphere. Especially smoked eel with strawberries was epic (at first I had some Gaston Lagaffe associations with it but was heavenly delicious). Highly recommend this eatery!

We had a lovely evening at Cafe de Gaper. The atmosphere is relaxed, the place is elegant, the food is extremely tasty, comparable to Michelin star restaurants. We did the wine pairing and it was a great idea as the wines were one of the best we ever had. My only suggestion would be to extend the dinner slots by at least 30 minutes. Thanks to the stuff and the chef for such an amazing experience. Will come back soon.
