The Netherlands' first Bring Your Own Bar

Table & Chairs runs on a simple pitch: bring whatever you want to eat or drink and pay 4.50 euros an hour for the seat, on the Breestraat. That hourly rate covers unlimited coffee, tea and fruit water, plus wifi and outlets.

Tables fill up with laptops as often as bottles of wine, and nobody blinks at either.

I come here almost every week, the drinks are of high quality (I love the dirty chai, it’s not from powder but real tea, and the coffee is good too). Very reasonable prices. Owner is super sweet.

I honestly can’t say enough good things about this place. ❤️ From the very first interaction, the owner’s hospitality made all the difference. She was incredibly welcoming, open to all of our ideas, and always willing to help. Even when we had to make changes to our reservation, she was so flexible and accommodating, making everything completely stress-free. The space itself deserves a special mention because it’s on another level of cozy. The atmosphere is so peaceful and inviting that you instantly want to settle in and stay for hours. We had booked the space for four hours, thinking that would be more than enough, but time flew by and we honestly could have stayed much longer. I couldn’t possibly mention every little detail, but everything, from the décor and the tableware to all the thoughtful amenities available, was of outstanding quality and impeccable taste. You can tell that every corner has been carefully designed with so much love and attention to detail. It was truly a pleasure to spend the afternoon there, and it was absolutely worth it. We’ll definitely be back… at least until they make our dream come true and open a location in Rotterdam. ✨

I have a pleasure to organise my first community event at Table&Chairs. It was my second experience with them and have to admit that was amazing and extended my expectations much more! The vibe, atmosphere give a vibe that you are welcome to be there with no rush. My participants loved the place as well - especially beautiful interior design. Owner of the place is extremely kind and helpful. Will definitely come back for further cooperation. Highly recommend 💞
