The Bazaar du Sud pop-up, now with a permanent home

Bazaar du Sud spent years as a travelling pop-up for local makers, setting up for a weekend at a time in spots like the Brandweerkantine. In 2025 it settled down: SUD opened on the Boschstraat as a permanent shop and working studio, an extension of the pop-ups rather than a replacement for them.

Inside you'll find jewellery, ceramics and design by makers from Maastricht and beyond, a counter for coffee and matcha with something sweet, and workshops running through the year. The Boschstraat address puts it at the Sphinxkwartier end of the centre, on the walk between the Markt and the Bassin.
