Breakfast, lunch and matcha in the old Baker & Moore

Ya-Li Chou took the Baker & Moore site on the Westblaak and stripped the industrial look out of it on a small budget. What is left is warm and light, and it fills up with laptops on weekday mornings.

Sandwiches come piled high. Salad bowls, smoothies and homemade granola fill out the card. Coffee, chai and matcha are taken seriously. Ingredients come from local suppliers where possible. Opened in spring 2026, doors at half past seven on weekdays.

Such a great place for breakfast, brunch, lunch! The service was amazing - warm, smiling, kind waiters and waitresses. The food was delicious - fresh, flavourful, nutritious. Would recommend going there to everyone :)

I've been there twice now and I absolutely loved it. Their matcha is of good quality and you can have it for take away too! I have tried their signature platter and their signature tosti and I am very impressed by the quantity and tastes. Very well worth the prices. The service is fun, kind and very helpful. For example, you get both an orange juice and coffee for the platter and the kind lady asked us if we wanted the coffee before/during or after the food, which in my opinion makes a difference. I took one star away for the atmosphere because if you sit outside, sometimes the wind blows over bad smells from the side street. It’s not the establishment's fault at all, just a little observation. I will be returning for more brunches for sure!

Nice option for brunch. Great menu for food and drinks. We ordered burrata and a chicken pulled sandwich. Tasty and fresh. Portions were big. Good quality of ingredients. About the drinks coffee was good and matcha mango was delicious.

Service is AMAZING. We ate on a busy Sunday morning and the whole staff is attentive, efficient, and super nice. We had a two persons platter and were super full after! You can ask for additional jam and they will bring it to you without any issue. If you're a tea lover, don't expect much, it's basic tea bags. The coffee was good a well. They have plant based milk too. Will go back any day!
