Moldovan wine poured on the Kettingstraat

Moldova is not the first country you think of for wine, and that is the point. The list runs through bottles almost nobody else in the city stocks.

The bar itself is small and unfussy, a few steps off the Grote Markt. Ask what they are excited about instead of reading the list.

Excellent wine bar in the centre of The Hague. There is an extensive menu of Moldovan wines and definitely something for everyone. We ordered some food along with the wine and it was perfect. Another highlight is the people working there. We had a lovely chat with Iulian the owner. He is extremely knowledgeable about everything on the menu and gave us great insights into Moldovan wines. The terrace is cosy and dog friendly. We will definitely be back again for another visit! Buza Restaurant is one of my favourites in The Hague, so I’m very happy to have the wine bar open too. P.S. don’t leave without trying the sour cherry liqueur vișinată 😍

Amazing experience. The owner was working on that day and he spent a good amount of time with us talking about wine.

What a gem. We went today for a few glasses of wine and it did not disappoint. Buza Central focuses on small wineries from Moldova and the people working here really know their stuff, fantastic service and very nice wines!

Definitely a unique place where you can taste a big selection of wines from Moldova, all from smaller wineries. I highly recommend this place to enjoy some time and a good drink during anytime of the year. Also the staff in top, very knowledgeable about the wines, tastes and bouquet of each type.
