Excellent restaurant and kind service. The steak tartare was 10/10. Only negative is that my rare steak was closer to medium well. Nevertheless, we had a great time.

Just left, and I never write reviews but I just had to. Even just from outside the atmosphere was so lovely, once inside even better, comfortable seating and the decor was very on theme. Employees were very nice and polite great service. And oh my dear god the food!! I know I will remember this meal. Had the escargot for appetizer, perfect, but the main meal was the show stopper , both my mother and I had the scallops and it was absolutely incredible, the sauce had me genuinely zoning out of conversation to enjoy it even more, melt in your mouth bacon with crispy edges was just delicious , scallops themselves were fantastic. One of the best meals I’ve ever had. I would recommend the crème brûlée for dessert as it was very nice! Absolutely coming back here again!

We booked a reservation at 18.00 but forgot about the reservation, since we paid ahead, we thought we will just try to come later (there was an issue with the phone line, so we couldn't ask ahead of time). Normally there would not have been a possibility, but the bartender was very nice and told us we could sit down and he would serve us our cocktails (it was a cocktail try out we booked). He asked about our preferences and went ahead. The cocktails were delicious and layered. Both me and my husband have very different tasting pallets, but we both loved all the cocktails together. You could taste that a lot of effort went into inventing and preparing them! I'm vegan and the menu itself doesn't showcase a lot of vegan options but the bartender (and also chef) assured us there's also a possibility to make reservations for vegan food if we planned it ahead. So we planned a 5 course dinner and are looking forward to it! Till now it was great and I love that it is taken into account if you're vegan in a very positive way!

I was so impressed with this restaurant! Great food at a great price. This is perfect for those who want a high end restaurant experience without the ego and the price tag. The chef is so friendly and offers great advice with the food, he didn't hesitate to have a chat with us and made us feel very welcome. As a Brit I can only assume this is what the definition of Gezellig is 😁 Vegetarian choice is excellent, including vegan Biterballen - the food of the Netherlands!
