Very nice classy place. We only sat for a bite and drinks, but definitely going for a dinner at some point. The service is nice and the bread was amazing.

Pleasant place in Utrecht at a convenient 15 minutes walk away from the station. Had a reservation for the outside but it was raining and staff automatically relocated us to a table inside, which was nice. Price is on the high side. Toilets were clean. Staff was friendly.

I’ve been coming to Le French Café in Utrecht since it first opened, and it has truly never disappointed. The food is consistently high quality, the staff are friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is exactly what you hope for: warm, stylish, and relaxed. What really makes this place special is that every visit brings new taste sensations on the menu. It stays fresh and innovative without ever compromising on quality—something you don’t often see. Honestly, many restaurants could take a cue from this place. For me, it’s a solid 10! 🍷🍽️

Absolutely adored this place. I went here for a birthday and boy did they deliver. First and foremost, this is all because of the attentiveness of the staff. They were all super nice and catered to our every need. I must say tho, this does not seem like a place to go when you're looking for a vegetarian option. Not because I want to say that those options are bad here but more to say that they know ball when it comes to meat. We had steak tartare as starters (pretty decent) and for main we had duck and chicken aka demi-poullet et canard. If you don't like the French kitchen, just don't go here with the idea that you'll choose something easy like spareribs: you will eat like a Frenchie no more no less. Some creme brule and mousse au chocolat as a desert and after only noting once when we were getting seated, about an hour later the birthday must've relayed to the kitchen and rest of the staff because they brought out some congratulations and fireworks. Some people hate that, I liked the simple but nice way they did this. After our belly was filled up just right, the staff helped us to switch to an outside table for an after dinner drink even though it was a living hell outside because we went on koningsnacht. Again, props to the staff and thanks for the care, probably not my last time at Le French Café 👀

Great service, very attentive staff. The food is good, though a little pricey for the amount. If you're going to order steak, the pepper sauce is better than the bearnaise sauce, imo.
