Two thousand board games in an old rail shed

Two thousand board games and a wall of shelves to keep them on, all inside a former railway shed on the Concordiastraat. Maarten and Mindel are eighteen and nineteen, and this is their first place.

They share the street with the Ping Pong Club, which explains the size of the room. Doors open Thursday to Sunday from three in the afternoon, so plan a long evening rather than a quick one.

Highly recommended for anyone who loves to relax. Of course, you can play games there, but you can also just hang out at the bar! At De Troef, you are the center of attention: choose a lovely sofa to sink into or the round table to beat your friends at your favorite game. It is also incredible how many thousands of games are available. I’d say: go!
