Bergen's specialty-coffee benchmark
Kaffemisjonen has set the standard for specialty coffee in Bergen for years, roasting-minded and barista-led before third-wave cafés even reached the city. The espresso and filter are pulled with care, and its baristas have picked up national competition placings.
The original room near Korskirken is small and usually packed with people who take their coffee seriously. It also runs the sister café BLOM in the student quarter.

Small espresso bar where you can also buy some for at home. Coffee is ok.

Cute place - gorgeous windows and tall ceiling, nice coffee brands but overall my flat white was a bit ‘meh’ too much milk maybe. Would definitely come here again, but most likely look for other options first. Nice flow of people going through and overall a good vibe for a rainy Monday ☔️

Coffee is top notch. Service is slightly sassy, but, it’s worth multiple visits (I myself made 3 during a 6-day trip) They also have a large selection of beans, which they will help you select and grind for you. I took home a pack

Its a small cafe with a few seats. The coffe was nice, there was no bread so breakfast choices were limited. The cheese and ham croissant was ok too

Great coffee. Great hot chocolate. All the pastries were finished with I visited.
