Coffee and sourdough pizza by day, wine bar by night

Same room, two different bars. Jest runs as a coffee stop with sourdough pizza through the day, then flips into a wine bar with small plates like halibut ceviche once evening hits.

It's from the Colonialen family, right on Vågsallmenningen in central Bergen, and people working nearby have already made it a regular stop. Grab the outdoor seating on a clear day before it fills up.

One of the best food I had in my life. The balance in the dishes was just perfect. Bergen can be happy to have a chef who creates dishes like this. I just feel sad that have to leave and I can not eat his dishes more often.

Perfect place for a snack and drinks. The Chef Misael really does an excellent job because the ceviche was delicious.

Had high expectations because we had read about this place before booking here. We had a very nice experience- excellent food and excellent service. They adjusted the menu after our needs and felt like we were the most important customers that evening. Will return for sure!

A lovely spot located centrally. It serves tapas style dishes, all homemade and tasty. Very cozy. Nice winelist but unless you know the winemaker and vineyard it's difficult to choose. The lady in service was very polite, efficient and helpful. We will definitely return.

Hard to beat the outdoor area in summer. Beer and wine (at least that we tried) were really good. Very much enjoyed our time here.
