Neighbourhood coffee on Marken's cobbles

Marken Kaffe sits halfway down Marken, the cobbled lane of small shops running along Bergen's eastern edge. It's a proper neighbourhood café, doing coffee, cakes and light bites for a crowd of regulars.

The room picks up the street's unhurried, bohemian mood. Worth the walk away from the main shopping drag.

Perfect cups of coffee every time - whether it was a cappuccino, flat white or Iced latte. They open bright and early. They have baked goods from one of the popular bakeries, so truly, best of all worlds. Made multiple visits during a short trip. They will be my first port of call if I return to Bergen again.
