Prada's first Norwegian store, in a 19th-century corner building on Karl Johan

Prada finally landed in Norway on 14 November 2025, taking over the old Benetton corner where Nedre Slottsgate meets Karl Johans gate. The Italian house restored the ground floor of the 19th-century building into a full boutique: ready-to-wear, shoes, bags, accessories, the complete assortment rather than a trimmed-down test format.

The opening confirms the lower end of Karl Johan as Oslo's new luxury quarter. Louis Vuitton sits directly across the street. Oslo shoppers used to have to fly to Copenhagen or Stockholm for this tier.
