Phenuq is a cafe built inside Phenuq Books & Stationery, a bookstore stocked mostly with Arabic titles. It's the calmest coffee stop in Sur, and the food backs that up: San Sebastian cheesecake, pistachio lattes, and a cake selection bigger than most cafes twice its size bother with.
It's the kind of place a city like Sur needs one of and rarely gets. Somewhere to sit with a book for two hours, coffee refilled, cake finished slowly, nobody rushing you.
