The Vallecito coffee bar tourists never find
Rondones bets on a simple idea: good coffee and a room where nobody rushes you out. It's tucked into a quiet residential stretch of Vallecito, nowhere near the tourist trail.
Walk fifteen minutes from the Plaza de Armas along the river and you're there. Almost no visitor to Arequipa makes that walk, which is exactly the point.

The cappuccino was delicious, good coffee. I tried the apple pie; a very generous portion and flavorful. And the service was excellent, the gentleman and lady who served us were very friendly. It's a very cozy and simple place.
