Sourdough, pan de yema and weekend brunch queues

Trópico outgrew its old space and moved to the corner of Las Acacias and Las Palmeras in Los Geranios, and weekend brunch still packs the new room. The bakery case is stacked with sourdough loaves and pan de yema next to the pastries.

For lunch, the stracciatella caprese salad and the grilled chicken Caesar are the two dishes people order again and again. It runs straight through the day with just a short break in the mid-afternoon.

This place is amazing! The food is delicious, and they have both indoor and outdoor seating. My family and I ordered brioche bread, mushrooms with cheese and bread, stracciatella, and juices—everything was 10/10, absolutely fantastic. I Arrived the city only for a connection flight, and founded my favorite place all over Peru!! The food is very tasty, not expensive, fresh juice, the service was perfect (especially Bianca!!) and really nice atmosphere. I will Definitely come back, thanks!
