The café named after a wagging cup, not a coffee bean
The name means roughly "the wagging cup," a cup with a happy dog's tail, and it sets the tone before you even walk in. No industrial-chic concrete, no exposed filament bulbs. Just a playful neighborhood spot near Plac Wolności.
It landed on Próchnika in a year when the street got crowded with new openings, including The Kura and Sushistory a few doors down. Worth the stop for the name alone.

A wonderful place with a mission! Close to Pietryna, yet peaceful. The coffee and flavored teas here are exceptional, and it's also a haven for dogs, other pets, and their owners. Plus, they offer excellent ice cream, pancakes, various cakes, and sweets made on site. I recommend the chocolate pancakes and the savory ones, which are fantastic 😇. The atmosphere is very warm, and interacting with the wagging hosts 🤠🐿️ is the best stress reliever. The service is incredibly friendly; you can tell they do it with heart. The prices are very reasonable. The conversation is always pleasant and engaging. A recommended spot on the Łódź map for every coffee lover, foodie, writer, and cat lover 😇👍.

I cannot say enough of how this coffee shop made our trip to Łodź a complete bless! We had our dog with us and we went there most importantly to have the doggy comfortable and welcomed but I was so impressed with the ultimate warm atmosphere but not only! They had a selection of coffees to chose from and if you don’t drink coffee they have a selection of very nice teas! Delicious different baked cakes on the spot! Regretting not being able to try the pancakes but next time I’m in Łódź I’m certainly coming back for them! Such a lovely family business 🥰

My review concerns a custom-made cake. The cake I ordered for a First Communion exceeded my parents' expectations in both taste and appearance. The flavor was creamy on top and fruity in the middle – the whipped cream wasn't cloying (which is very important for a cake), and the fruit inside the cake added a tart flavor, which nicely balanced the flavor. The order was picked up by a third party without any issues. The cake was packaged in a sturdy cardboard box. We will definitely be back to order another cake, and who knows, we might even visit the cafe in person to try other sweet treats. I highly recommend it.

A wonderful place in Łódź. Friendly service, delicious cakes, and a great selection of flavored coffees, all naturally flavored, not drenched in sweetened syrup. The dog at Pappucino was also very happy 😃 We've been there many times and will definitely be back.
