Jewish cooking and klezmer nights on the Rynek

Mandragora sits right on the market square in Lublin's Old Town, cooking Jewish dishes that reach back to the city's pre-war past. Cholent, goose and kugel share the table with rosół, pierogi and hummus.

Klezmer musicians play here some nights, leaning into the history the kitchen draws on. It's one of the better known addresses on the Rynek, and part of how Lublin tells its Jewish story.
