Umami sits right on Wrocław's market square and runs a menu that mixes handmade dumplings, ramen and pasta in the same kitchen, an Asian and Italian combo that shouldn't work but does. The dumplings and fresh noodles are what to order.

The room keeps a pared-back, minimalist look, no frills, and the square-side address puts it in the middle of the tourist and after-work crowd in the Old Town. This is a comfort-food stop, not a place to book for an anniversary.
